Long ago when I was just a little girl…

 

I dreamed of fairy godmothers, beautiful princesses, and charming princes.  Then I grew up and found my prince.

 

What to do?  How to plan the wedding of my dreams?  So many possibilities….so little time…

 

But I had it all figured out in my head already.  It was planned a long time ago during those little girl daydreams. 

 

As a teenager and young adult, flipping through wedding magazines, looking at wedding dresses, perusing the display cases at fine jewelry stores, and attending friends’ weddings, I chose just the right food, cake, music, flowers, rings, gifts, favors, and, of course, attire, to make it all perfect.  To make it all mine.  I was ready to make my wedding dream a reality.  And I did! J

 

Friends and acquaintances began asking me to assist them as they planned their own weddings, bridal showers, and baby showers.  I offered assistance and advice down to the smallest details.  They told me that I made their marriage or shower very special and totally unforgettable.  What a feeling that gave me!  And, to top it all off, I enjoyed it immensely!

 

So here I am now, happily married with a 16-month-old daughter.  I work as a manager supervising therapists and so I’m organizing, planning, and coordinating all the time.  I’m using the same skill set necessary to be an exceptional event coordinator.  So…
